Lauren Walters has been part of Riverton Church since 2015. She earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from James Madison University and has spent over ten years working in both education and children’s ministry. She’s married to James Walters, and together they’re raising four amazing kids.

Lauren has a heart for helping children discover the love of Jesus in ways that are meaningful and fun. She’s passionate about bringing families together — whether it’s through serving, learning, or simply spending time in fellowship.

​Recently, she and James stepped into the role of Youth Leaders at Riverton, where they’re excited to walk alongside students as they challenge them to grow in their faith.
When she’s not teaching or leading, Lauren enjoys baking and photography — two hobbies that let her slow down and capture the beauty in everyday life.
