What To Expect – Riverton Church

What to Expect on Sunday

We know visiting a new church can feel overwhelming, so here’s a simple look at what Sundays are like at Riverton.

Pre-Service - 9:30 AM

Youth Sunday School
Middle and high school students meet together to study God’s Word, ask questions, and grow in faith and friendship.

Adult Sunday School
A welcoming class for all ages to explore Scripture, share insights, and build community.

Children’s Sign‑In — 10:30–10:45 AM

Parents sign children into Children’s Worship.
Kids begin the morning in the sanctuary and are later dismissed.
Children are always welcome to remain with you in the sanctuary — whichever you prefer.

Worship Service — 10:45 AM

Processional & Prayer — Candles are lit to symbolize the Light of Christ.

Announcements & Opening Hymn

Children’s Moment — Kids gather briefly at the front, then head to Children’s Worship.

Offering & Doxology — A voluntary tithe accompanied by a sung prayer of thanks.

Contemporary Worship — The Praise Band leads 2–3 songs of worship.

Message — Pastor Marc preaches Scripture‑based sermons, often in a series format.

Closing Song & Benediction — A blessing as we carry the Light of Christ into the world.

After Service — ~11:45 AM

Join us in the lobby for refreshments and a time of fellowship.
